- 75g Margarine
Some utensils you may find helpful for this bake are:
- Baking Tray
- Wooden Spoon
- Mixing Bowl
- Small Container/Tray
Ready... Steady... BAKE!
Step 1. Place your white pot of filling in the fridge for 1 hour before you start step 2.
This will make dividing your filling up a lot easier!
Step 2. Using 2 teaspoons, split your filling into 6 x 30g balls. Place each filling ball into a tub or on a tray, then freeze for a minimum of 2 hours.
Step 3. Preheat your oven to 190c.
Step 4. Combine the margarine with Mix A & mix for 3 minutes until there are no large chunks of margarine.
Use the side of your bowl to break up the margarine. We recommend using a mixing spoon or wooden spoon for this step.
Step 5. Add 30ml of water to your cookie mix. Mix for 1 minute.
Your cookie dough will not be a solid dough at this stage, do not worry!
Step 6. Gently form your mix into 6x110g balls. Once you have split the dough, take a dough ball and place it in the palm of your hand. Use your thumb to mould the dough into a cup shape. Place a frozen filling in the dough and then enclose it with the excess dough.
Have patience for this step! It is important to fully enclose the filling with the dough.
Step 7. Place your dough balls on a baking tray, use the greaseproof from your box for lining. The dough will spread so we recommend 3 per baking tray.
The lining in your box is professional grade greaseproof paper, this is perfect for our cookies and will make a delicious crisp base.
Step 8. Bake in the oven for 13 minutes. Allow to cool for 30 minutes, then, it's time to enjoy your American Stuffed Cookies!
These cookies are suitable for freezing, so you can grab and go whenever you have that Cookie Monster craving! Just warm them in the microwave for 12 seconds.
Don’t forget to take a picture of your cookie break and it’s gooey cookie core.
